Sunnyvale Clarinet Lessons

The word clarinet actually comes from the Italian Clarino which translates as trumpet, because early clarinets had a trumpet like tone. The clarinet is a woodwind instrument, where sound is produced by a reed that vibrates when air is applied to it. Although the clarinet has always had a strong presence in classical music, most people associate its round tone with early jazz.
